The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sales Experience in freight forwarding (5+) – mandatory;
  • Exquisite negotiation and communication skills;
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken;
  • Positive attitude to provide exceptional service to the customers by demonstrating a personal approach and responding with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, integrity, and respect;
  • High level of autonomy and decision making with proven track record of project implementation;
  • Solid notion of the market, market players and self-driven interest in the trends within the sector;
  • Excellent Computer Skills – MS Office, previous experience with ERP/EDI software relevant to transport and operations;
  • Outstanding communication skills, assertiveness in a dynamic environment, good self-planning, self-driven, result oriented and out-of-the-box solution approach;
  • Team player in a corporate environment.

The responsibilities of our future colleague:

  • Understands the company’s competitive advantages on the market and develops knowledge about the services’ profitability; Able to explain key business drivers within own function (import/export/both);
  • Evaluates the market situation and contributes with ideas how to react to market changes adequately and on time;
  • Actively searches for new customers and business partners;
  • Actively develops the existing customer’s net;
  • Proposes optimal price quotes for participation in customer tenders based on good knowledge of the services’ cost price, market conditions and competitors’ pricing levels;
  • Prepares and sends quotations /offers in reply to customer requests for transport services in accordance with the company’s existing routines. Analyzes the offers’ success rate and builds an awareness of how to increase it;
  • Predict, troubleshoot and resolve obstacles arising before, during and after any customer order that requires it;
  • Proposes specific solutions, customized to customers’ requests while ensuring safe, cost-effective and efficient service;
  • Initiates and maintains strong professional relationships with clients, business partners, customs agents, and colleagues from Gopet offices through regular contact via e-mail, phone or face to face meetings;
  • Demonstrates availability and reliability for addressing all business partners issues.
